Bowling Green, Ky. - U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell will be in Brownsville Friday (Jan. 18) to help Western Kentucky University launch its rural mobile health service in Edmonson County.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mobile Health and Wellness Unit will begin at 3 p.m. at the Edmonson County Courthouse Community Room, 110 E. Main Cross St. Tours of the unit will follow. The public is invited.
Speakers will include Sen. McConnell, WKU President Gary Ransdell, Edmonson County Judge-Executive N.E. Reed, and Dr. David Dunn, director of WKU's School of Health and Human Services.
