WKU Psychology Department Profile
In Group's Newsletter
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's psychology department is profiled in the monthly newsletter of the American Psychological Society.
The February 2002 issue of the APS Observer, which is distributed to the group's 15,000 members, features Western's psychology program.
"The APS profile will increase our visibility among members in other psychology departments," said Dr. Steven Haggbloom, department head.
The profile includes information about the department, which has the second largest undergraduate major and largest full-time graduate program at Western, and showcases the department's National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates award.
The research program, which begins June 2, will provide 12 undergraduate interns with an eight-week summer research experience in lifespan developmental psychology.
