WKU Forensics Team Wins
14th Straight State Title

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's speech and debate team has won its 14th consecutive state championship.

Fourteen members of the William E. Bivin Forensic Society won first place in overall team sweepstakes and first place in university division sweepstakes at the Kentucky Forensics Association State Tournament. The event was held Feb. 15-16 at Northern Kentucky University.

Four WKU team members traveled to the Oklahoma Swing at Oklahoma State University on Feb. 15-17. The students received 11 individual awards and finished fifth in team sweepstakes.
