WKU Planning Pep Rally Before
1-AA National Title Game

Bowling Green, Ky. - A Hilltopper Tailgate Party is planned Friday afternoon before Western Kentucky University plays McNeese State for the I-AA national championship in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The WKU Alumni Association is hosting the event at 2 p.m. CST at the Chasetel Pavilion adjacent to W. Max Finley Stadium. The WKU pep band, cheerleaders and Big Red will be on hand for a pep rally before the 5:30 p.m. CST kickoff. For information, contact the Alumni Association at (270) 745-4395 or 1-888-WKU-ALUM.

Game tickets are $20 per person. All fans regardless of age must have a ticket to get into the contest. Beginning Wednesday, tickets can be purchased by phoning (423) 266-6627 and may be picked up at Max Finley Stadium on Friday.

The Hilltopper Athletic Foundation is organizing a bus trip from Bowling Green to Chattanooga on Friday. The cost for the bus trip and ticket is $50. The bus will leave at 11 a.m. Friday and return after the game. For information, contact the HAF office at (270) 745-5321.
