Language Awards To Students

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Department of Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies honored 49 students this month with its third annual Foreign Languages Achievement Celebration.
Honored for achievements in Chinese courses were: Young-Shik Park, a Bowling Green freshman; John M. Dishon, a Lawrenceburg freshman; Thomas Nolan Ratliff, a Staffordsville senior.
Honored for achievements in French courses were: Craig R. Pierpont, an Edmonton freshman; Christa Gaskill, a Bowling Green sophomore; Kara Gibbs, a freshman from Cottontown, Tenn.; Lynn Ann Griffin, a Bowling Green sophomore; Dylan Taylor, a Bowling Green senior; Jeff Bollig,
a junior from Hendersonville, Tenn.; Ruth Enos, a Louisville sophomore; Tyler Groves, a Lewisburg junior; Abi Platt, a Cynthiana sophomore.
Honored for achievements in German courses were: Angela Brown, a Bowling Green sophomore; Zachary Callahan, a Bowling Green sophomore; Bryan Louden, a Bowling Green freshman; Katherine McGee, a junior from Nashville, Tenn.; Melanie Schatz, a Fort Knox freshman; Casey Watson, a junior from Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; Cle'shea Crain, a sophomore from Madison, Tenn.; Alicia Miller, an Erlanger freshman; Azra Causevic, a Bowling Green sophomore; Sanela Golic, a Bowling Green junior.
