WKU Wins Honors At
CASE-K Conference

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University was honored at the annual meeting of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education in Kentucky (CASE-K) in Louisville Dec. 12-13.
Western won six grand awards: Office of Development for total educational fundraising and fundraising projects; WKU Alumni Association for overall alumni relations; Tommy Newton for excellence in feature writing and feature story or series; and Bob Skipper for general news story or series.
Newton also received an award of excellence in general news story or series while Stephen Barnett received two awards of excellence for videos. Skipper received a merit award in feature writing. Rachel Manning received a merit award in institutional relations.
