August 22, 2002 ''Outlook' To Feature Interview On Friday, Aug. 23 at 6:30 p.m., and repeating Sunday, Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m., 'Outlook' will feature Lowell Guthrie, newly appointed member of President Bush's Workforce for the 21st Century Commission, along with Jack Thomas, president and CEO of the Bowling Green Community and Technical College District. They will talk about the changing face of the workforce and how government, business and the private sector need to work together to maintain an adequate workforce. On Friday, Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m., and repeating Sunday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m., Dr. Gary Ransdell, president of Western Kentucky University, will share his vision for the new school year and give an update on happenings around campus. On Friday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m., and repeating Sunday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m., Kentucky House Speaker Jody Richards will talk about upcoming issues facing the Commonwealth, including budget concerns and higher education funding.
