WKU Music Department Saying
Thanks To Scholarship Donors

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Western Kentucky University Music Department is hosting "The Gift of Music Recital: Notes of Thanks to Scholarship Donors" at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19.

Student recipients of endowed music scholarships will showcase their talents at the event in the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center recital hall.

The endowed scholarships are Edward J. Pease Memorial Scholarship Fund, Hugh F. Johnson Music Scholarship Fund, Blanche and Austin Duckett Strings Music Scholarship Fund, Nelle Gooch Travelstead Scholarship Fund, Howard Carpenter String and Piano Scholarship Fund, Seymour Spiegelman Scholarship Fund, Dr. Kent Campbell Scholarship Fund, Jerry Baker Scholarship, Dr. Samuel W. and Jeane Payne Tinsley Music Scholarship, D. and S. Vitale String Scholarship, Ida Weidmann Scholarship Fund, Thelma Gregg Piano Scholarship and Music Department Faculty Scholarship Fund.
