Hartz Honored By WKU
Women's Alliance

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University employee Sharon Hartz has received the 2002 Women's Alliance Award for Outstanding Contribution to Women.

Hartz, office coordinator in the dean's office of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, received the award Wednesday. She has been employed at Western since 1989.

An active member of the Women's Alliance, Hartz serves on several committees that impact women at Western, including Women's Alliance Committee to the President, University Benefits Committee and Gender/Ethnicity Salary Equity Committee.
