WKU Students Receive Greek
Academic Excellence Awards
Bowling Green, Ky. - Members of Western Kentucky University fraternities and sororities were recognized for academic excellence at an awards program March 12.
The following students were honored at the annual Greek Academic Recognition Program:
Outstanding sorority freshman: Julia Spillman of Livermore, Alpha Delta Pi
Outstanding fraternity freshman: Justin Brown of Henderson, Sigma Phi Epsilon
Outstanding sorority sophomore: Jessica Jolly of Bowling Green, Alpha Delta Pi
Outstanding fraternity sophomore: Kyle Edelen of Louisville, Sigma Phi Epsilon
Outstanding sorority junior: Allison Carter of Tompkinsville, Alpha Delta Pi
Outstanding fraternity junior and Donald Zacharias Fraternity Scholar of the Year: Chris Long of Frankfort, Sigma Phi Epsilon
Outstanding sorority senior: Kristen Thomas of Cross Plains, Tenn., Kappa Delta
Outstanding fraternity senior: Jared Neuss of Livermore, Calif., Sigma Alpha Epsilon
Alpha Delta Pi sorority and Phi Delta Theta fraternity were recognized as highest average for 2001.
