Ribbon Cutting For WKU Mobile Health
And Wellness Unit Nov. 9 In Morgantown
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's School of Health and Human Services will conduct a ribbon cutting for a $267,000 Mobile Health and Wellness Unit at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in Morgantown.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 104 N. Warren St. in Morgantown. The event marks the beginning of a new era of mobile health and wellness services in the Barren River Area Development District. Diabetic and dental screenings will be conducted at the unit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
The health screenings and other services will be provided by WKU students, faculty and staff to residents in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren counties.
