BG Community College Sponsoring A Writing Contest

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Bowling Green Community College of Western Kentucky University is sponsoring a poetry and essay writing contest for its students.

The contest is open to any student enrolled at BGCC during the spring semester. Students may submit one essay of less than five pages or up to three poems, according to Paul Bush, an English instructor at BGCC.

Bush said there were 42 entries last year and prizes and being solicited from businesses in the community.
