Quiz Bowl Set For
April 4 At WKU

Bowling Green, Ky. - Teams from 15 high schools will compete in Quiz Bowl 2001 on April 4 at Western Kentucky University.

This is the 12th year that WKU's Student Council for Exceptional Children has hosted the event for students with mild disabilities.

Three teams of five schools per team will compete in the round-robin, quick recall contests at the Downing University Center. Competition begins at 9:30 a.m. with the awards presentation at 1 p.m.

High schools participating in Quiz Bowl 2001 are: Allen County-Scottsville, Apollo, Barren County, Bowling Green, Breckinridge County, Cumberland County, Daviess County, Glasgow, McLean County, Monroe County, Muhlenberg North, Ohio County, Warren Central, Warren East and Webster County.
