WKU Student Receives Scholarship To Oxford University

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University student Leslie Ryann Davis of Bowling Green has received a scholarship to study at Oxford University in England.

Davis, who graduated magna cum laude in December, is the first Western student to receive the study abroad scholarship offered through the English-Speaking Union. The three-week academic program at Oxford begins on July 1.

Davis, the daughter of Rick and Shirley Davis, received a bachelor's degree in marketing and Spanish.
