WKU, Mammoth Cave Hosting Elderhostel Program
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and Mammoth
Cave National Park are hosting an educational program in April
for adults over age 55.
The Elderhostel program, "The Underground World: Exploring
the World of Caves," will run April 22-27. The experience
will include guided exploration of the cave system, nature trails
and a riverboat trip.
The program is strenuous, requiring stair climbing and distance
walking.
Participants can register through Elderhostel Inc. for a residential
program for $420 that includes lodging at the park. Commuting
students can register through Western's Continuing Education
office for $270. More information is available from Continuing

Elderhostel Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that promotes
learning and travel for adults 55 and older. Short-term education
programs combine fun and excitement with opportunities for learning
and making new friends.
