Chrisler Named Director Of Auxiliary Services
At WKU
Bowling Green, Ky. - A veteran administrator from Central
Washington University is the new director of Auxiliary Services
at Western Kentucky University.
Rob Chrisler is responsible for the ID Center and WKU Bookstore
and more than $12 million in annual contracts for campus printing
(Xerox), food and drink vending (Canteen and Pepsi) and dining
services (Aramark).
He is also a part of the Student Affairs Management Team which
deals with the challenges of changing student service needs in
the areas of health care, facility master planning and strategic
planning. Chrisler said he was attracted to Western because of
its focus on student services and the chance to be a member of
a progressive campus management team.
"Rob has the leadership skills and management experience
to build upon and improve the critical student services programs
under his direction," said John Osborne, associate vice
president for Campus Services and Facilities. "I am very
pleased to have him on board."
Chrisler was special assistant to the vice president for Business
and Financial Affairs and director of Auxiliary Services at Central
Washington in Ellensburg. He was also director of Auxiliary Services
at Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls.
Chrisler has bachelor's degrees from the University of California
at San Diego and UC-Davis and a master's degree from University
of Redlands.
