Teachers To Attend Practical Living Academy
At WKU
Bowling Green, Ky. - About 35 middle-level teachers from
Kentucky will be at Western Kentucky University this month for
a Practical Living Teaching Academy.
The July 16-20 academy is sponsored by the Kentucky Department
of Education in conjunction with the Coordinated School Health
Institute and WKU's Department of Public Health.
The conference's purposes are to enhance teachers' content knowledge
and improve their teaching skills. The purpose for teaching and
assessing practical living is to
make a lasting difference in the lives of students that positively
