WKU, National City Honor Area High School
Seniors
Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National
City on Tuesday (Jan. 23) honored 42 high school seniors from
Warren County for their academic achievements.
The students, all eligible for tuition scholarships at Western,
were honored during the annual High School Scholars Luncheon.
As a group, the students had an average GPA of 3.94, an average
ACT score of 28.85 and included 13 Governor's Scholars and one
National Merit Semifinalist.
The students honored included:
From Bowling Green High School: Maggie Blair, Sophie Davies,
Tiffany Fuller, Erin Gafford, Lynne Ann Griffin, Anna Jones,
Harper Lee, Joanna Lile, Caroline Mitchell, Lauren Moore and
Dylan Sullivan.
From Greenwood High School: Emily Aldridge, Regina Brand,
Jennifer Carter, Michael Dunn, Joseph Fillingham, Patrease Freeze,
Layla Ghayoumi, Katherine Hall, Heather Hill, Julie Jacobs, Neil
Jhamb, Brad Modlin, Ashley Moore, Amanda Osborn, Justin Polin,
Jonathan Rexeisen, Casey Taylor, Bryan Thomas, Lindsay Wagenblast,
Bradley Wray and Wade Yeoman.
From Warren Central High School: Angela Brown, Amy Coleman,
Adam Hilton, Kathryn Kunkel, Jamie Price, Shea Riffey and Destiny
Smith.
From Warren East High School: Charles Benson, Shaun Deacon,
Justin Mutter and Jonathan Woods.
