31 Serving On WKU Campaign Leadership Committee


Bowling Green, Ky.
- Thirty-one volunteers are helping lead Western Kentucky University's "Investing in the Spirit Campaign" by serving on the National Leadership Committee.

Members of the National Leadership Committee serve as general ambassadors and advocates by communicating the elements and goals of the campaign and aid in marketing the campaign through contacts in their regions.

The committee meets annually in conjunction with the University's meeting of the Board of Advisors.

The goal of "Investing in the Spirit: the Campaign for Western Kentucky University," is to raise $78 million for people, places and programs by June 30, 2003. Western has raised $57.6 million by the end of the 2000 calendar year.
