WKU Interfraternity Council Receives Excellence
Award
Bowling Green, Ky. - For the 10th time in 11 years, Western
Kentucky University's Interfraternity Council has won the Fraternal
Excellence Award at the Southeastern Interfraternity Conference.
"This means that Western has one of the best IFCs in
the southeast," said Charley Pride, Western's Greek
affairs coordinator. "There were only five winners out
of more than 100 chapters."
Pride said the award recognizes educational and social programming,
service and judicial system.
Western's IFC also received awards of excellence in recruitment,
legal concerns, leadership development, social programming, scholarship,
public relations, publications and philanthropy.
