Three WKU Students Participate
In Math Competition

Bowling Green, Ky. - Three Western Kentucky University students participated in the 62nd annual William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition on Dec. 1.

The national undergraduate competition is open to students in colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. The competition, which began in 1938, is administered by the Mathematical Association of America.

WKU students participating in the competition were:

Jeffrey Scott Little, a Pikeville senior whose parents are Jeff and Linda Little

Wes Daughtry, an Owensboro senior whose parents are Tony and Anita Daughtry

Jamie Johnson, a Rochester senior whose parents are Mark and Sheree Johnson
