WKU Student Newspaper Names
Editor For Spring Semester
Bowling Green, Ky. - Brian Moore, a Louisville junior, has been named editor of Western Kentucky University's student newspaper.
Moore, a print journalism major and folk studies minor, will be editor of the College Heights Herald for the spring 2002 semester. Moore, who was the paper's sports editor this fall, has been a reporting intern at the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times and the Courier-Journal.
Jason Thompson, a Bowling Green junior, will be advertising manager again in the spring semester.
Other Herald staff members include: Jed Conklin, an Owensboro senior, photo editor; Stephanie Gladney, a Louisville junior, design editor; Jennifer Rakestraw, a Slaughters sophomore, online editor; Rex Hall, a Louisville junior, news editor; Caroline Lynch, a Louisville senior, opinion page editor; Lyndsay Sutton, a Shelbyville senior, sports editor; Kyle Hightower, a Paducah sophomore, assistant sports editor; Erica Walsh, a Louisville junior, features editor; Taylor Loyal, a senior from Roanoke, Va., senior writer; Rich Mach, a senior from Sterling, Va., systems manager; Brian Grady, a Bowling Green sophomore, editorial cartoonist; Mike Lamar, an Owensboro junior, creative services manager; Ann Green, a Bardstown junior, classified advertising manager; and Cassandra Shie, a senior from Sterling, Va., circulation manager.
