WKU Coach Harbaugh Featured Speaker at Feix Luncheon

-Western Kentucky University football coach Jack Harbaugh will be the featured speaker May 2 at the Jimmy Feix Scholarship Luncheon in Henderson.

Harbaugh's Hilltoppers finished the 2000 season 11-2, including a 7-0 record in their final season in the Ohio Valley Conference, and advanced to the quarterfinals of the Division I-AA playoffs. In his 12 seasons at WKU, Harbaugh has compiled a record of 71-61.

The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at Wolfe's Banquet Hall at 325 First St. in Henderson. Tickets are $25 per person. All proceeds support the Jimmy Feix Scholarship Fund for WKU students from Henderson, Union or Webster counties.

Feix, a Henderson native, played football at Western from 1949 to 1952 and earned All-America honors in 1952. He was Hilltopper football coach from 1968 to 1983 and compiled a record of 106-56-6.
