WKU Evening Of Dance 2001 April 17-22

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Evening of Dance 2001 is scheduled April 17-22 at the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center's Russell H. Miller Theatre.

The WKU Dance Company's show will feature choreography by assistant professors Lees Ginger Hummel and Stephen K. Stone. Evening of Dance 2001 program includes modern and jazz dance; an experimental movement piece based on creating and reacting to rhythm produced by hand-held sticks, tap shoes and vocal sounds; and a scenario-based dance/movement piece featuring 11 musical works by Frank Sinatra.

Show times are 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 17, through Saturday, April 21, plus a 3 p.m. matinee Sunday, April 22. Tickets are $7.
