Bowling Green, Ky. -- Jonaka White, a Western Kentucky University freshman from Cromwell, has received the John E. Robinson Oratorical Award.

White, daughter of John and Edna White, won the extemporaneous persuasive oratorical contest for Western freshmen and sophomores. The contest is sponsored by the Ogden Robinson Foundation. White is majoring in agriculture.
