WKU Graduate Candidate
For National
Education Award
Bowling Green, Ky. -- A Western Kentucky University
graduate is a candidate for a national education award.
Joy Carroll Miller, curriculum and assessment director
for Hardin County schools, received the Administrator of the
Year award from the Kentucky Association of Educational Office
Professionals and is in the running for the national award that
honors dedication to education.
Miller, who earned a master's degree from Western in 1976, also
received the Distinguished Educational Leadership award from
the Commission on Elementary and Middle Schools of the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools.
