Bowling Green, Ky. -- Western Kentucky University is accepting nominations of full-time faculty for the 1999-2000 college and university-wide faculty awards.

The University annually presents faculty awards for teaching, research/creativity and public service in each of the four academic colleges. In addition, awards for teaching and public service are awarded within the WKU Community College and awards for research/creativity and public service are awarded within the University Libraries.

All college winners become finalists for the university-wide awards. Selections will be made by a faculty/student/alumni committee. Winners will receive a cash award from the WKU Alumni Association and an engraved silver bowl from the University.

Deadline for nominations is Feb. 7. Nomination forms are available from the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
