Life On Wheels Coming To
Western Kentucky University

Bowling Green, Ky. -- Life on Wheels, the popular RV education program at the University of Idaho, will be offered at Western Kentucky University May 7-10.

Classes for RV enthusiasts at all experience levels will be offered at Western's South Campus, 2355 Nashville Road. The cost is $175.

The Life on Wheels program was founded by Gaylord Maxwell, who has coordinated week-long programs at Idaho for five years. His 40 years experience as an RVer and career as teacher, RV dealer and writer provide him with a varied background and perspective to develop a program headed by many of the leading RV experts.

Instructors include book and magazine writers and speakers Joe and Vicki Kieva, Sharlene Minshall, Joe and Kay Peterson and Bill Farlow. They will be joined by industry technical experts like Al Cohoe, administrator of a four-year college RV repair program, and solar power technology expert Greg Holder.

Classes are offered in three categories: lifestyle (choosing an RV, fulltiming, etc.); technical (maintenance, repair, etc.); and lifestyle enhancement (photography, healthy travel, travel with computers, etc.) Students can park their rigs at the South Campus.

The extension program to WKU, and similar programs in Texas and Pennsylvania, is made possible by support from Camping World. For more information, contact Brenda Dickson, (270) 745-1900, E-mail brenda.dickson@wku.edu.
