Legislative Day For Gifted Students
Wednesday In Frankfort


Bowling Green, Ky.
-- More than 1,200 students are expected Wednesday in Frankfort for the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education's Legislative Day for Gifted Students.

Students from 39 schools -- from Fulton in far western Kentucky to Paintsville in eastern Kentucky -- will meet their legislators, watch action in the General Assembly and visit other Frankfort attractions.

At 1 p.m. Gov. Paul Patton, House Speaker Jody Richards and Senate President David Williams are scheduled to speak to students during a KAGE assembly on the Capitol steps.
