

Many WKU students combine their language study with course work in business, geography, political science, history and culture to gain a minor in International Business.
The international business minor (reference number 333) prepares students to be effective citizens and leaders in a global environment of growing economic interdependence among nations. The program is open to all qualified undergraduates who want to pursue professional positions in both small and large multinational firms.
Language Requirement (12 hours)
At least 9 hours must be from one of the following languages:
Language skills may be validated through clep or departmental exams.
History And Culture Component (9 hours)
At least three of the following categories must be represented:
MODERN HISTORY (must be associated with the chosen language)
GOVERNMENT
MODERN LANGUAGES AND INTERCULTURAL STUDIES
REGIONAL GEOGRAPHY
GEOG 110, 200, 360, 453, 454, 465, 466, 467;
Business Component (at least 9 hours)
Pre-requisites are in parenthesis; at least two areas must be represented:
Applied Elective (3 hours)
Study abroad or internationally oriented internship
