Laura McGee teaches German language, literature, culture and cinema courses. She is a former Fulbright Scholar whose research interests lie in the area of German film and in teaching with technology. She has published in Film History, German Studies Review and in German as a Foreign Language. She frequently leads study trips for students and teachers to Germany.

Tim Straubel teaches first- and second-year German. He studied at the University of Cincinnati, and is a former Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Austria. He is currently active in the E-Train project at Western Kentucky University and frequently teaches abroad during the summer with the Kentucky Institute for International Studies, in Munich and in Bregenz.
