Nashville Road and University Blvd. Intersection Closure

UPDATE

A stretch of University Blvd has been added to closure list. University Blvd will be closed from Craig Street to U.S. 31W (Nashville Road) starting at 3 a.m. Sunday and will reopen at 6 p.m.

____________________________________________________________________________

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s project to construct a roundabout at the Nashville Road intersection with University Blvd. is moving forward.  Parking and Transportation Services will send periodic updates throughout this project.

The first disruptions are associated with utility work in the area.  All work is weatherpermitting.

BGMU Electric utility work will create a complete intersection closure on Sunday, April 6th from 6 AM to 6 PM. A detour will be in place so please allow extra travel time.

Work on Sunday, April 13th will create short closures to the intersection from 6 AM to 6 PM.  Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic.  Please slow down and exercise caution in the area.

For detour information and maps, please visit the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet website HERE.  You may also contact Wes Watt, Public Information Officer at Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, at 270-746-7898 ext. 275 for more information.
