American Idol winner Phillips to perform April 8; tickets on sale Feb. 4

Phillip Phillips, the winner of American Idol’s 11th season, will perform April 8 at WKU.

The concert by the singer-songwriter from Leesburg, Ga., will begin at 7 p.m. at Van Meter Hall. Tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Feb. 4 at the WKU Ticket Office at Diddle Arena and online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $25 for floor seats and $20 for balcony.

Phillips’ first single “Home” has sold more than 3 million copies. His first album, “The World from The Side of the Moon,” was released in November.

The concert is sponsored by “Van Meter Events Presents.”
