Marcella Fernandez, a Communication Disorders UFT 8 cohort student, was chosen to participate in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s Minority Student Leadership Program (MSLP): Class of 2012. As a participant, Fernandez will participate in a set of leadership-focused educational programs and activities at the Convention. These activities are designed to build and enhance the participants leadership skills; help them gain an understanding of how the Association works; and provide them the opportunity to interact with leaders in the professions of audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech, language, and hearing sciences. Out of 84 applications, only 32 were selected. Congratulations Marcella!
