WKU Hosts Zumba for a Cure

WKU Hosts Zumba for a Cure

The student chapter of the Kentucky Public Health Association (KPHA) helped organize WKU's Zumba for a Cure event. The event, which is a national one but the first for WKU, was hosted in part by the Preston Center and Fitness Lab. Ines Dugandzija, KPHA Treasurer, was the committee chair and coordinator of the event.

There was no charge to participate in the event, but the coordinators did ask for donations and were able to raise $200 to donate toward breast cancer awareness and research. The full story covering the event can be read here in the College Heights Herald.
