WKU MBA Professional Option- an executive MBA
The WKU Professional MBA (PMBA) program is designed to help professionals and mid- to upper-level managers with 5+ years experience achieve their full potential as leaders. WKU's PMBA program is ranked in the top percentages among MBA programs at US universities for the last 2 years for learning. The PMBA program includes both the WKU MBA degree and the WKU Leadership Certificate (36 semester hours).
The PMBA program is an AACSB accredited, "executive" MBA program, with these features:
- Meets alternate Saturdays (1 course in the morning; 1 in the afternoon for a total of 2 courses per semester)
- 2 year lock-step program (6 semesters - fall, spring, and summer)
- Study teams meet outside of class at your convenience to work on cases and projects
- Cohorts start each fall in Bowling Green and Owensboro and forming in Elizabethtown

WKU's PMBA has just been ranked in the top 5% among MBA programs for a second time in three years. MBA programs across the US have their graduating students take the nationally standardized exam each year to see how their programs rank on learning. In 2011 PMBA students at WKU also scored in the top 5% on this national assessment of what students learned and can apply (top 25% in 2012).
