FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you have a calculator I can use?

The Mathematics Testing Center has a limited number of TI-84 and TI-83 calculators that can be checked out to use during your test, on a first-come basis. A limited number of non-graphing calculators are also available. Any calculator usage must comply with the instructor's calculator policy for the particular test.

2. Can I request extended testing time?

Extended testing time is at the discretion of your instructor. If you need extended testing time, you must work the details out with your instructor in advance of your test and your instructor must notify the testing center.

3. What if there are no appointments available for the day I want to take my test?

When the testing center schedule is completely full, students may walk in and ask to be put on a waiting list. If space becomes available (as a result of "no shows"  or other testers finishing early), you will be seated according to your position on the waiting list. If you are put on the waiting list, you must stay outside the testing center and wait. If you are not present when your name is called you will be removed from the waiting list.
