              The Center has extensive holding of sample preparation equipment, including drying ovens, crushers, cutting mills, pulverizers, riffles and splitters.  Also available are a shatter box, stirred-ball mills, micro mills, and a pneumatic mill for reducing solids to very small particle sizes, and preparing slurries.
