All those planning to return as Western Leaders for M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan 2013/MPC 2013 will be required to re-apply, regardless of position title. All returning Western Leaders are expected to assist in the facilitation of Crew Member Group Process activities Saturday, April 6th.
Counselors
If you served as a Counselor last year and you...
- Plan to return to the Counselor position:
- Complete the information sheet (first page) of the Western Leader Counselor application and return it to Ms. Lisa (Room 26) in the Housing & Residence Life office as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, March 29th, 2013. You will NOT need to compose or submit an interest essay or have to submit recommendation forms/letters with your application. However, you will need to sign up for one two-and-a-half hour time slot on Saturday, April 6th to assist with Group Process Day activities.
- Do NOT plan to return to the Counselor position because you are graduating, working,
etc:
- No worries! You won't need to submit any paperwork! THANK YOU for your past service!
If you plan to apply for the Counselor Position for the first time...
Complete the Western Leader Counselor application and return it to Ms. Lisa (Room 26) at the Housing & Residence Life office as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, March 29th, 2013. You WILL need to compose and submit an interest essay and submit one recommendation form/letter with your application. You will also need to sign up to participate in one two-and-a-half hour time slot at Group Process on Saturday, April 6th, during which you will engage in activities and interview for the Counselor position. Should you be offered a Counselor position, you will be required to participate in training, dates TBA, and serve as a Counselor during M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan's Commuter Program (MPC) Sunday, August 18th-Monday, August 19th, 2013.

If you served as a Team Captain last year, and you...
- Plan to return to the Team Captain position:

You will NOT need to compose or submit an interest essay with your application. You will NOT need to compose or submit an interest essay. You will be required to sign-up to assist with Group Process activities on Saturday, April 6th; sign-up for one of two shifts (10am-12:30pm, 1:30-4pm) at Ms. Lisa's desk when you turn in your information sheet.
