ICTE Endorsements and Certificates - Instructional Computer Technology Endorsement

Based on state and national standards for technology and teacher education, this graduate ICTE endorsement program provides students educational technology skills, including the design and curriculum integration techniques of multimedia presentations, web pages, databases, spreadsheets, instructional software, digital video/audio editing, desktop publishing and more. Students will also acquire knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot standard hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This graduate endorsement program will enhance the experiences of classroom teachers, interns, or school administrators in incorporating technology into instruction and assisting students/teachers in their use of technology. Candidates must already have teacher certification to be eligible for this endorsement. This endorsement can be planned as part of the LMS or EDTECH Focus in Library Media Education, as part of a fifth year program, as a professional area of a Rank I program, or as an endorsement only program for educators possessing a Rank II certification.

EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATE

This 12-hour graduate certificate program teaches essential technology skills including the design and curriculum integration techniques of multimedia presentations, web pages, databases, spreadsheets, instructional software, digital video/audio editing, desktop publishing and more. Students will also acquire knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot standard hardware, software, and peripheral devices. This graduate certificate program can enhance the experiences of educators from other states as will as business/information technology trainers in incorporating technology into instruction and assisting students/employees in their use of technology.
