Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measure of non-credit course work. One CEU (1.0) may be awarded for each 10 hours of classroom instruction. A Certificate of Completion is issued to participants successfully completing each course (requires attendance to at least 90% of classes).

Please note:
To obtain an official transcript from the University for credit courses or a degree,
visit the WKU Registrar’s website.

The Lifelong Learning office maintains a permanent record of participation in approved programs and can provide official transcripts to you or your employer. Requests for Lifelong Learning (non-credit classes) transcripts must be made in writing.

Lifelong Learning participant information may not be released without the written consent of the participant except to persons engaged in the proper performance of WKU duties. There is a $3 charge per transcript.
