Position Description

Mr. Harbison joined the Faculty of University Libraries in September 2008. Prior to that he was the Senior Reference and Periodicals Associate. Mr. Harbison's research interests include Medieval history, Science Fiction and Fantasy novels and films and Gaming, both online and tabletop. He is the collection development liaison for Computer Science.

• Member of Electronic Resources Information Committee for electronic resources acquisition, management, and policy formation
• Assistance on how to use database, conduct database searches for faculty, staff and students
• Offer general and specific (computer science) reference services for faculty, staff and students
• Collection development for computer science and electronic resources
• Bibliographic instruction for computer science students

Research

Research interests include using computer and information technology in the libraries, digital libraries and archives, and using electronic resources in the study and teaching of History.
