Amanda assists in managing, planning, maintaining, and organizing the Reference Area in Helm Library, provides research assistance, schedules, and teaches information literacy programs and workshops about library skills and using research databases.

As the Instructional Designer for the Department of Library Public Services, Amanda is responsible for working with library faculty and staff to identify and develop objectives and learning outcomes, and to revise and rewrite content to shape it for learning needs. Amanda helps to structure content and activities for student learning, and creates media to support learning, including brochures, guides, signage and displays, as well as tutorials, sound recordings, videos, and other multimedia products.
