This
guide is intended to assist in the planning of lessons related to
American history, quilting, the importance of the craft, and traditions
related to it. The guide also presents information on quilting today,
providing examples that attest to the craft’s relevance in
the contemporary world.
Teachers
will also find classroom activities involving math, science, language
arts, social studies, and art, as per Kentucky Core Content requirements.
