Student Art Workshops

Teachers may wish to add a Student Art Workshop to their visit to the Kentucky Museum. After touring the exhibits, students can be instructed by our artist-in-residence Lynne Ferguson. Students from first grade through twelfth always enjoy the art activities. Teachers can choose from a variety of workshops:

Collage Making

Introduction to Watercolor

Mask Making

Victorian Greeting Cards

Landscapes "en plein air"

Drawing with Conte Crayons

Weaving Basics

Holiday Ornament Workshop

Activities range from 30 minutes to an hour. Price is an additional $1.50 per student for a total of $5.00 ($3.50 for admission + $1.50 for student art workshop = $5.00 total).
