Summer Day Camp
The Kentucky Library & Museum will host summer
camps from 8:00 a.m.–12:00 noon, Monday through
Friday, during June 2008. KYLM day camps are designed
for 1st through 6th graders.
Hands-On History with
Eileen Starr
(June 2 –6) Campers
will explore the history of Kentucky through music,
food, dance, and much more.
Fine
Art with Lynne Ferguson
(June 9 -13) Participants will build on their
basic drawing, painting, and design skills. Mediums
include watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, and sculpture.

Clay Camp with Davie Reneau
(June 16 -20)
Learn techniques of hand building with clay pinch
pots, coil and slab work. [This

Exploring
Cultures
(June 23 –27)
Visit four continents in five days by experiencing
culture with art, food, dance, games and music of
Africa, Asia, Central America, and Europe.
In addition, after camp activities will be offered
from 12 –4 daily at the Kentucky Library &
Museum. After Camp Activities fee is $50 per child,
per week.
Space is limited, so register early.
Camp
fee is $100 per child, per week.
