Every fall, the Kentucky Library & Museum partners with WKU's Theatre and Dance department to produce a children's play that local schools can come see. In 2008, The Mischief Makers was performed in front of over 600 kids. The play International Holiday was performed in 2007. These plays are directed and performed by students in the Theatre and Dance Department.
This is a great way to introduce your kids to the theatre and cover core-content in a fun way. Our staff here at the KYLM creates a study guide for teachers that corresponds to the show being performed to help you make the most of your visit with us.
You're invited! The Kentucky Library & Museum is proud to present Cinderella, the World's Favorite Fairy Tale as the 2009 KYLM & Western Players collaborative performance. We are now booking reservations. It is $3.50 per student while teachers and chaperones get in free. This year there will be two performances: November 11 & 12 at 9:30am.
