A permanent part of the new Civil War Exhibit includes many different activities for kids!

This activity lets children re-create the Battle of Gettysburg!

These hands on activities include everything from how to wrap a headwound to using cipher squares to crack spy codes. These activities are aimed at students in the 3rd to 5th grades but have been enjoyed by field trip students from preschool to highschool. Some of the activities can be found below.

Clothes on Wall

This "Clothes Closet" is a great way for kids to learn about life in the 1860s. After trying on a hoop skirt or a soldier's uniform, your class can take a picture in our 19th century living room. Check out the inventory here.
