Senate, Elizabeth Cox Underwood comments about the transferral of the presidency. "I have not yet learned the changes consequent on Genl. Taylor's death except the inauguration of Mr. Filmore. I suppose there will be removal among the cabinet officers. Any prospect of a change of place for a certain gentleman, who claims close kin with E. C. Underwood? "
