Item/Collection Note: Not all political postcards were used for campaigning. Some were issued as election/inauguration souvenirs. A Republican in predominantly Democratic Kentucky, Willson won a bitterly contested campaign which focused on the temperance question, a hot issue during the Progressive Era.
